God Is Good, Right? - Wrong!
The word “good” is too popular to miss as a child growing up in a Christian domain: being it a church, school, community, society or country at large, whether you are a Christian or not; because of this popular saying “God is good” with the response “all the time” and the vice versa: “all the time” with the response “ God is good”. The English word “good” is a Positive Degree of comparing adjectives:

Three Greek words in the New Testament are all generally translated as the adjective “good.” The first is kalos, which means something free from defects, and beautiful. The second is agathos, referring to moral excellence, something that is worthy of admiration.
The third is our word chrestos, which means something that is useful, profitable, or serviceable, later broadening to include kindness, goodness of heart. According to the “WordWeb Dictionary” the word “Good” is having desirable or positive qualities especially those suitable for a thing specified.
Mat 5:48 “Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.”(KJV)
The problem in this thinking is that the Hebrew word ( tam or tamim) does not carry the meaning of "without flaw" as does the term "perfect" in English. It normally means complete or mature or healthy (for example, Lev 22:21). That meaning of
mature dominates most use of the equivalent Greek term in the New Testament ( telos). Something, or someone, can be complete or mature yet not be "without flaw." In fact, it is much easier to be mature and still have flaws, than it is to be without error or without flaw. Many people are mature, but few if any are "without flaw."
From the understanding we have wield so far; arguing from the English meaning perspective, we simply know that “Good” in the simplest term mean something that can be improved upon to be better and furthermore best and lastly perfect while “Perfect” by Strong's concordance definition is having reached it end or complete. So now I believe you will agree with me that among the word “Good and Perfect” if you were asked to choose the one that duly fit God in your estimation, with a shadow of doubt you will opt for “Perfect” without the minutest hesitation.
Since we all know that: when it comes to the dealings with God, the use of right or appropriate wordings is a phenomenal deal since consistent ignorance is costly according to Act 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:(KJV).
With God being perfect in perspective we can furthermore argue that, anything that emanate from God is perfect: therefore, using wordings like:

- God time is the best is an error; but rather God time is perfect because “best” can be improved upon while perfect is not.
- God is good is also an error; because I once said “ if God is good then I will worship a better God and if God is better then I will worship a best God and if God is best then I will worship a Perfect God” on my facebook.com.
