Two Cases Of Corona Virus Confirm In Ghana

The Ministry of Healthy has confirmed two cases of COVID-19 also known as Corona Virus on the 12th March, 2020, and the first case to be reported in Ghana.
According to the laboratory results of the two confirmed case were at the same time from the Ngoguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research.

The victims return to Ghana from Norway and Turkey, thereby making it imported cases of COVID-19.
The patients are currently being kept in isolation and are stable. We have started processes for contact tracing.
Minister of Health Kwaku Agyeman Manu MP assured all Ghanaians that the Government of Ghana with all health stake holders will continue to work to the very best of their ability for the situation to be controlled.

He added: "We encourage the general to take good care of their and families health with all seriousness by following these instructions:"
Regular and thorough washing of hands with soap under running water and use of alcohol base hand sanitizers.
Avoid shaking of hands
Keep a distance at least two meters from a person with fever, cough, sneezing and difficulty in breathing.
Exercise regularly, be well hydrated always, eat healthy food and have enough rest.
