Making Heaven Should Not Be Your Goal - Bible
What Is Heaven
In Christianity, heaven is traditionally believed to be the abode of the throne of God as well as the holy angels, twenty four(24) Elders, four(4) living creatures and among other creatures . In traditional Christianity, it is considered to be a physical place in the Spirit realm.

In most forms of Christianity, Heaven is also understood as the abode for the righteous dead in the afterlife, usually a temporary stage before the resurrection of the dead and the saints ' return to the New Earth(New Jerusalem).
In the Book of Acts, the resurrected Jesus ascends to heaven where, as the Nicene Creed states, he now sits at the right hand of God and will return to Earth in the Second Coming. Various people have been said to have entered heaven while still alive , including Enoch, Elijah: which Jesus refute in John 3:13 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, [even] the Son of man which is in heaven.
And Jesus himself, after his resurrection. According to Catholic , Eastern Orthodox, and Oriental Orthodox teaching, Mary, the mother of Jesus , is also said to have been assumed into heaven and is titled the Queen of Heaven.
In the Christian Bible , concepts about the future " Kingdom of Heaven " are professed in several scriptural prophecies of the new (or renewed) Earth said to follow the resurrection of the dead —particularly the books of Isaiah and Revelation and other sources of Christian eschatology.

Right Goal-Bible
Many Christians usually say: “my number one goal is to make Heaven at all cost” dear then that is an ignorant goal because:
firstly, the bible help understand that anyone who is born of God is automatically a citizen of heaven “Philipians 3:20 For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ,;”NKJV therefore going to heaven is a done deal as a child of God since even in this natural life, someone who is a citizen of a country and has travelled to a different place does not find any big deal out of it returning to his native country; the same thing apply to the child of God.
One thing it should be noted is that, according to the bible, the basis for someone going to heaven or hell is determined by the person believe in Christ and His finished work; not your sinfulness or righteousness, because even your righteousness outside Christ is has a filthy rag before God not your sin as said in Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.” KJV
This stand to reason that it is Jesus the Christ that gives essence to right living as far as God is in the equation.
What give a place essence and worth is not the place itself but a person or people. A palace value and essence is determine by a King. My supreme priority is to Know Jesus Christ and Him alone crucified; like never before and that must be the supreme goal of every Child of God(genuine Christian) and the Apostle Paul put it like this: Philippians 3:10 That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being made conformable unto His death;.”KJV
Making heaven is a Good thing but not Perfect because of priority.
