Olympic Pharaohs trash Black Meteors 3-2
The Black Meteors of Ghana has lost 2 -3 to their opponent: the Olympic Pharaoh's of Egypt earlier in their second fixture match at the Cairo International Stadium in the on going under 23 African Cup of Nations.
The game that saw many goals: Ghana taken the lead at the early stages by their captain(Yaw Yeboah) from a tap in,following a cross from the left flank by Samuel Obeng; but the captain of the Egyptian Ramadan Sohbi equalised the Ghana 2 -1 in the second half of the game.
Ahmed Rayan a substitute in the second half secure the maximum three points for the young Pharaoh's around 87 minutes of the game from a header from a brilliant corner kick by Ramadan.
The Egypt was undoubtedly the better side at the latter stages of the game and they deserve the win.
The win has secure an early bird place for the Olympic Pharaoh's in the semi-final in the prestigious competition but football pundit Mr Kwabena Yeboah said: "Ghana still has some slim chance to qualify to the next stage of the competition" from his usual sports highlight show on Ghana Television(GTV).
